3rd Party Design Review Services of Initial Phase Right-of-Ways at The Parks at Walter Reed, Washington, DC

ATCSCI was awarded a contract by TPWR Developer, the Master Developer for the development of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC, to provide the District of Columbia, Department of Transportation (DDOT) with 3rd Party Design Review services of the initial phase Right-of-Way (ROW) at The Parks at Walter Reed.

 

ROWs are designed in phases to align with adjacent vertical development.  ATCSCI’s scope of work is to provide the design reviews of the initial phase which consists of ROW #1 and ROW #2 design packages.

 

Our scope of work includes:

· Act on behalf of DDOT and report to and operate under the direction of the DDOT Chief Engineer and Project Manager

· Design Reviews in accordance with the procedures and requirements of DDOT’s Design and Engineering Manual

· Prepare Design Review Comments and coordinate the resolution of comments with the DDOT Project Manager, project stakeholders, and other local agencies

· Make recommendations for approval of onsite ROW plans prepared by the Master Developer’s Civil Engineer

D.C Department of General Services

ATCSCI staff is assisting the Department of General Services (DGS) with the Short-Term Family Housing (STFH) Program to construct or rehab housing in all wards in the District of Columbia. The construction value of the STFH Program is over $50M. Our team is performing review of design documents, feasibility reports, cost estimates, constructability, Value Engineering (VE) recommendations, project schedules and provide recommendations for Wards 1-8 projects, bridge housing and Permanent Supportive Housing. 

Architect and Engineer Schedule IDIQ - DDOT

Our staff provided DDOT with construction engineering and inspection, survey, miscellaneous design and constructability reviews, and technology research services to assist in the design and construction of DDOT’s Capital Program.

Howard Theatre Area Rehabilitation

Our experienced staff provided construction management services for the $6 million rehabilitation project. This project consisted in resurfacing and streetscape work on 7th Street from “N” Street to Florida Avenue excluding the intersection of 7th Street and “T” Street, for the District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT) in Washington, DC.

14th Street Streetscape Improvement

Our experienced staff is providing Construction Management services for the $16 million streetscape project. This project consists of resurfacing, water main replacement, and streetscape work on 14th Street from Thomas Circle to Florida Avenue, for the District of Columbia Department of Transportation (DDOT) in Washington, DC.

DC Water, Construction Management Contract

Services provided for this contract included Construction Management, Office Engineering, Review of Shop Drawings, Review of Construction Contractor Submittals, CPM Scheduling Services, Preparation of and Negotiation of Change Orders, Resident Engineering and Inspection; Quality Assurance; Material Testing; Claims Avoidance, Analysis, and Management; EPA Grant Close-out.

Small Local Sewer Rehabilitation 4

Located in DuPont Park S.E. and Washington Highlands S.E, our team provided cleaning, pre and post CCTV inspection, trimming protruding services, reinstatement of approximately 1,755 service laterals, and the installation of approximately 57,000 linear feet of 8-inch through 24-inch cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners in storm, sanitary and combined sewers, with 13,000 linear feet of 10-inch through 24-inch CIPP liners as Alternates in Lamond Riggs N.E. and Park View N.W. in Washington, DC.
